SPORTS MASSAGE

Sports massage is a form of bodywork geared towards active participants. It is used to help prevent and recover from injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition. Sports massage has three basic forms: pre-event massage, post-event massage, and maintenance massage.

SOFT & DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Soft tissue massage focuses on manipulating the muscles, tendons, and ligaments to relieve tension and enhance flexibility. This therapeutic technique promotes relaxation, improves circulation, and aids in the recovery of soft tissues after injury or strain.

Deep Tissue Massage is a technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas.

CUPPING THERAPY

A traditional Chinese medicine therapy, which is one of the oldest most effective method of releasing the toxins from body tissue and organs.

It involves placing cups at certain points on a person body, a vacuum is created which creates a suction in the cups which pulls against the skin.

DRY NEEDLING/MEDICAL ACUPUNCTURE

Dry needling/medical acupuncture, is a therapeutic technique that involves inserting thin needles into trigger points or tight muscles to relieve pain and improve mobility. This method targets muscle knots, promoting the release of tension and enhancing blood flow to the affected area.  It can effectively alleviate chronic pain, improve range of motion, and support recovery from injuries. Many clients experience immediate relief and long-term benefits.

SPORTS REHABILITATION ASSESSMENT & TREATMENT

An initial assessment last around 60 - 75 minutes,  it will consists of subjective questioning to obtain the background to the injury, supported by clinical testing and biomechanical analysis. This assessment is crucial for developing an effective recovery plan, ensuring that  you can return to their sport safely and efficiently.
